Carnelian
Carnelian is revered as a stabilising stone, providing energy, inspiration, positivity, motivation, courage and is the recipe for success. It is believed to stimulate the sacral chakra, the foundation of the physical and spiritual energy of the body. It ranges in many beautiful shades of orange from yellowy orange to a rich almost reddish orange to orangey brown, varying from semi opaque to highly translucent. Ancient Romans and Greeks made jewellery set with this stone and it is one of the earliest favoured gems. Originally it was used for imprinting a seal with wax on important documents.
